The AFL did not interview Cate Sayers while it investigated a lewd photo scandal involving ex-PwC boss Luke Sayers, a decision that is expected to come under scrutiny in a lawsuit filed against the former Carlton president.
How long the AFL’s integrity unit investigated the matter for, and whether it fact-checked statements made by Sayers, will also be addressed in the claim, which was filed in the Victorian Supreme Court by Cate Sayers on Tuesday.
